Itapemirim Transportes Aéreos, the newest Brazilian airline, belonging to the Itapemirim Group, announced the arrival of its second Airbus A320-200 aircraft on Brazilian ground. The landing took place at 3:48 am on May 9, 2021 at Confins Airport (CNF), in Belo Horizonte (MG).
The aircraft previously operated by IndiGo with the former
VT-IDP registration. In Confins, the aircraft remained for procedures related
to importation at the Federal Revenue Service. After nationalization, the
Airbus A320 received the registration PS-AAF, in reference to the initials of
the corporate vice president, Adilson Aparecido Furlan.
From Confins, the aircraft went to Sao Jose dos Campos-SP
(SJK) the next day, May 10, 2021, where it will receive new painting and
customizations. ITA's Airbus A320 will be configured for 162 seats, providing
more individual space for all passengers.
